Key Stage 1 SATs 

 

SATs are national tests that children take during their primary school life.

There was previously a requirement that children in Year 2 (at the end of KS1) would take these tests.

From 2024, KS1 SATs are no longer a requirement.

 

Pupils in Year 2 are now assessed just using teacher assessment throughout the year, and this will be reported to parents in the school end of year report.
