The Happy Stars are our Nurture Group. All our staff have been trained by the Nurture Group Network. 

The Happy Stars of St Peters C of E First School held there 3rd sponsored bike ride for local Mental Health Charity Mind in Taunton & West Somerset on June the 8th.

This has become an annual event that is run by the teachers of the Happy Stars group. This year 17 pupils signed up for the ride held on the school playground.

As this was the third year the ride has gone ahead we had children that were riding their first,second and third ride for charity this was recognised with gold, silver and bronze medals, most importantly all the children had a great time.

This year £150 was raised to add to previous amounts which brings the total to over £550 in three years . We would all like to thank Mrs Brooks and her team who work very hard to ensure the ride goes from strength to strength year on year and we’re all looking forward to the next one.

The children of Happy Stars sent a card to Prince Harry and Meghan to celebrate their wedding and were very excited to have received a reply.

Nature board - The theme in Happy Stars this term is Nature. The children have really enjoyed learning about life cycles, insects, seasons amongst many other things. They have also been running a Sunflower competition and can't wait to see who has grown the tallest sunflower.

Royal Baby - Happy Stars were delighted to get a reply from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in response to the card they sent on the birth of Prince Louis.
