School Dinners and Free School Meals

School dinners are ordered on My Child at School (MCAS) and instructions can be found below.  Meals are provided on a three week rolling rota throughout the term, therefore you will only need to complete this order once a term.  Children will be able to choose which meal they would like on the day.

Years 3 & 4 lunches need to be paid for unless you are entitled to benefits related Free School Meals.  If you are unsure, please speak to Mrs Shoots in the school office.  Payment is made via our MCAS system.

Please remember that if no lunches are ordered then we will be unable to provide a lunch for your child on that particular day.  Any child who has a school dinner booked on a day where a school trip has been organised the order will be changed to a school packed lunch.  If you do not require this lunch or wish to change an order, please let the school office know.

Children who attend a Somerset County Council school, whose parents or carers receive certain benefits may be entitled to free school meals.

Only the benefits listed here – and no other benefits – qualify you for free school meals for your children.
