Sarah Hayward - Board Appointed
I believe a good education has the power to transform lives, and for children can provide the wings upon which they can fly. I have recently moved to Kilve from West London, where I was a member of both a primary school and secondary school Governing Body, as a parent and then a community governor. I come from a finance and economics background in industry. Most recently I was a School Business Manager for two large primary schools. I am now semi-retired living in a watermill in Kilve, where I hope to generate hydro-power once more to heat and light my home. I am enjoying discovering the folk music venues in the area, walking in the Quantocks and along the coast and getting involved in the local community. I am married with two daughters now at University.

Hi, I'm Hayley Lake, originally from Ireland moving to West Somerset (via Aberdeen!) in 1999. I am married with 4 children; all have attended St Peter's. Although I am a geologist, at the minute I work in adult education providing support to apprentices and learners. I have been part of the Trust for just over 5 years and especially enjoy meeting and talking to the children, who are undoubtably our greatest asset. I am determined to support this fantastic body of staff to ensure the years our children spend at St Peter's are the best that they can be allowing them to reach their full potential in every area. I am delighted to be part of the Local School Council at this warm and welcoming school.
