We have been working hard to ensure that our children and staff are safe, as we welcome our children back to school. Below I have outlined some of the things that will happen in school that will help us maintain a safe environment for all.
Class Drop off and Collection
The school is blessed with a large playground and field and we can accommodate all the children coming into school at the same time whilst maintaining social distancing.
Whilst every effort will be made to ensure bubbles do not cross, we cannot guarantee this as children move around the school. The DfE guidance does state however, that transmission of the virus if children pass in corridors is highly unlikely. The evidence suggests that the risks to children are vanishingly small.
Entrances and Exits
Reception, Yr1, Yr2 – Entrance by Alicia’s garden (Right door)
Year 3 – Entrance outside the Elm class
Year 4 – Entrance outside Yew class
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over the last few months of the school year and we appreciate all the hard work that many parents have put in with the home learning.
