Firstly, all children and parents can be really pleased with the efforts and standards they have set with the homework they have completed last term. Homework as a whole was completed punctually, with a great level of effort, which could be seen very evidently. This term we continue to set spellings each week, spellings are then tested every Wednesday. Maths homework will always link to learning we have completed during that week. Please follow the maths tab for extra guidance on what we are learning in maths this term. English will continue to focus on sentence work and occasionally an extra English task, which will benefit the children, following something we have done that week in class.
Homework is considered an important factor to your child's education, assisting your child at home will improve their ability to understand things far greater in school. This may include reading with them or asking them to answer a few short times table questions. Please encourage your child to take pride in their reading by adding their sticker to the reading chart each day, if they have read that previous evening.
Keep up the hard work!
